We have been one of the pioneers in the techniques of ICSI, having done more than 900 cycles with success rates reaching nearly 30%. We were the first unit in India to initiate the technique of Assisted Laser Hatching, to improve pregnancy rates in elderly patients and in previously failed cycles. The unit has started performing Blastocyst Cultures and recently has also introduced the new methods of Preimplantation Genetics which are available in few centres, over the globe.

We also specialise in the area of Egg Donation and Embryo Donation, which is a boon to elderly and menopausal women.

We are pleased to be the first clinic in India to offer a Money Back/ Shared Risk payment option (which is very popular in the US). Our goal is to help infertile couples create their family without having to worry about the financial burden IVF imposes.....

Dr. Hrishikesh D. Pai can easily be described as a pioneer. Although he is an academic and even a social worker, it is his work in the field of reproductive medicine that sets him apart from his peers. He is a leader in bringing advanced assisted reproduction techniques to Mumbai and India as a whole.

His trek toward greatness began with a b academic foundation. He graduated from Mumbai’s most well-respected medical school, G.S. Medical College, with honors. He was fortunate in 1989 to participate in a clinical fellowship at Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, the facility at which the second-ever test-tube baby was born. In about a year, Pai mastered the in-vitro fertilization procedure, returning to Mumbai in 1991 to set up the city’s first IVF center. Since then, he has performed over 10,000 implantation procedures, resulting in test-tube babies to satisfy the desires of countless couples.

Pai can claim a number of firsts during his distinguished career. For example, in 1998 he was the first gynecologist in India to use laser hatching to improve pregnancy chances after IVF procedures. In 2007, he was the first in India to perform an ovarian tissue freezing technique that allows young women with cancer to later have children. And those are just two among dozens of innovations introduced to India because of Pai’s dedication to his homeland.

Pai also has a master’s in clinic embryology and andrology from Easter Virginia Medical School in the United States. Today, he continues to serve as an innovator in his field, bringing to India advances that might otherwise have taken years longer to reach the nation.

In addition to serving as the current vice president for the esteemed Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction, he advocates for increased sharing of information about fertility issues. He is a b proponent of information centers and help lines. He also works to put an end to India’s disturbing history of infanticide.

By taking a progressive leadership role, he hopes to destigmatize the discussion of women’s health issues and eliminate the challenges that underprivileged women face in finding competent, sympathetic health care.
